I have been obsessed with the nostalgic vibe lately. This includes the look of old photos, vintage style clothes, and the space I am present in having a vibe of safety and serenity. When showcasing the things I have been loving lately I usually pick some specifics, but it really has been this entire feeling of peace as I revert back to a time of comfort combined with the modern hope. An example, the Paper Shoot Camera. I was so excited to purchase as I love taking pictures but wanted something that has a different feel and that could get me off my phone. It is able to be personalized, easy to assemble and take care of, compact, and the pictures are so cute!
The vintage or nostalgic vibe reminds me of a comfort space where it was just my family and I. It was security and happiness. Now it is growing into something different like how a simple dandelion turns into a wish, I am turning into a better me. I use the camera to recenter away from my phone. I use fashion to express confidence and feel comfortable and beautiful in my body, and I use the idea and the feeling in my motivation to be something different and needed. Sometimes the past is good because you look back to know something bigger lies ahead.
